I am looking to buy a few holders for some currency, and I was wondering what everyone uses? Are there any specific brands or anything that I should stay away from? If I could get something on Ebay that would be great because I have some ebay bucks I need to spend. Thanks
Just make sure you use Mylar-D currency holders. Some stuff out there Contains P.V.C which tends to bleed and crack over time!!
i use the BCW holders. i prefer the rigid holders. the do contain PVC but i have them in a safety deposit box and they are fine. just keep them out of sunlight for extended periods of time. i have about 500 or more notes in them. for me the mylar ones are to flimsy. you can find them all over ebay. here is what they look like
I asked the same question not long ago and got the same recommendations...I went with the mylar holders although as Urbanchemist said they are kind of flimsy I found them for a good price 100 for 19.61 shipped
BCW all the way. I had been using some other company (name totally just left my head :desk for sometime. They were just thick and stock pages. The BCW pages are nice and easy to flip through. Great quality and really affordable.
Just wanted to drop in a quick tid bit here,For many years in my youth and In to college i collected baseball cards, At one time i had 10 binders with about 150 sheet,s per, These sheets were made of P.V.C and after several years The sheets have begun to get hard and crack along with discoloring, I would Not trust P.V.C over the long haul, Especially on high dollar notes, But that,s Just me!! This is just the experiance i had, Please decide for yourself
