well mine doesnt have a jack for a headset like yours which would of been nice but its good for what little time i have used it. it beeps a different pitch based on what metal you find. im just wondering does yours use a rechargable battery pack and what model it is?
BOUNTY HUNTER LAND STAR,I dont use the headphones.it has a "all metal" option.and thats what I have been using, but i really need to use the option that picks up specific types.I would do less digging. And the House that I found,no longer is there.it is just a wooded area.just remains of items are there.I cant wait to go back, hopefully the ticks wont be so bad this time.
Yeah you never know, maybe the orig owner of the house hid a cache of gold and silver coins in the walls of that old house, passed away without revealing its location, and the house was bulldozed and the coins are still out there somewhere buried in the muck -LTB
ive got 3 parks and 2 schools to check out and thats places i can walk to in minutes. yours has some nice features mine hasnt with the no motion and depth indication. yours must still use batterys like mine takes 2 9v. not so worried about what type of metal im digging up because you just dont know till you see it.
Well,I found mine on craigslist, and there seems to be some pretty good deals there. It really didnt matter to me as long as it beeped when there was metal, ill dig anything up. if anybody is interested? this looks like a kick but deal,i would pick it up for anybody interested,as long as you pay for shipping. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ele/1694308249.html
I also forgot to mention, when me & the boys were at the park,we dug a small hole, and didnt find anything, other than a rock? yeah a slightly large round rock that peeps on my detector.????
I also live nearby an old park that would be fun to hunt with metal detector. The park patrol officer keeps a close eye on the park, guess there's drug activity or he has nothing better to do.
or you tossed what it was in some other pile of dirt. ive almost always found what it was that set my detector off so far. found a 1984 nickel, 1962 d cent, some rusted cans and the best a old big red wrapper today.
It is super addicting.its like playing the lottery, but every find is a win,no matter how small, plus you end up cleaning up the aluminum cans in your neighborhood!! I recycle so it pays
