1955 Cent Error, Missing 5

1955 Lincoln Cent which is clearly missing the last 5. You can see a faint image of 5 where it should be.
It's also missing the "ST" in Trust. And the "I" in LIBERTY is poorly struck and curved at the bottom similar to a J.
The pictures are not very good but the best I can get right now.
I have looked at this under a 10X loop and the surface is flat with just a shadow image of where the last 5 should be. With the ST also missing I have some ideas of how this might have happened but not sure. I cannot find any other errors of this type for this year and mint.
Can anyone give me some help on this?

It appears to be a grease-filled die. It's fairly common for Lincoln's because it doesn't take much to fill the small letters or numbers on the die.

    Cool!

Thanks for the help. I know little to nothing about "errors" so I appreciate the response.

Is this the same coin in both pics? The top looks like 1955 and the bottom looks like a 1957. Maybe its the lighting...

Same coin in both pics. I don't have the equipment to get much better than that.
