Dang. I wish I had seen that before the bidding ended. Missed another one by just a few hours. Hard to believe it went so cheap.

I bought the four coins the last time I was in the
Far East. P,D,S and CC. Sending them to NPGS for
the the 8 coin holder. Also have the Steelie versions
I picked up on the same trip. P,D,S, and O.

Honestly I know it’s rare but leaves me cold. At that price level if I had that kind of dough I’d either be chasing a 1794 flowing hair $1 or a small eagle half dollar. My 2 bucket list coins I’ll likely never own

There are several super high dollar coins on my bucket list but if I buy them; I know my wife of 550 years will kick my bucket. If I outlive her, which is unlikely, I am going to use her life insurance proceeds to buy the highest dollar coin I can afford. LOL

There are two coins on my bucket list:
    -- a 1796 Quarter Dollar/Draped Bust/Small Eagle Reverse
    -- a 1796 or 1797 Half Dollar/Draped Bust/Small Eagle Reverse
I need them to complete my US Type Set to my satisfaction.
Together in VF they'll cost in the neighborhood of $100,000.

I'm also interested in (but considerably less):
    -- a Gobrecht Dollar
    -- a Stella $4 gold piece

    C'mon Powerball or Mega Millions!!!
