When join some sites for the first time, they make you jump through some hoops before let you post anything. My guess it’s to catch robotic accounts.

 

The story behind this one was that back in 2014 there was a software change on CT and when it was done and finished, some us had the ability to post comments in the 'for sale' section. Doug was having a baby over the fact that we were doing so and threatened sanctions, demerits and kooler..........

I remember that as well. I got in a little trouble over that. Posted a reply to a for sale post by mistake. Didn't even know I had special powers. Wonder if we had other powers.

 

Oh I used to post replies in the For Sale section (i think, it could just be a past nightmare)
from the times of the scammers being more prevalent and visual
