from a website I frequent: http://mentalfloss.com/quiz/quiz.php?q=82 I got 19 out of 20 (and realized my mistake, but didn't want to go back far enough to fix it).
Well, I got 10/20 but as a Canadian enjoyed the exercise just the same. Ive got them all, both mint marks...70% of them I collected while travelling to the U.S on business, the remaining 30% bought up here or on ebay. Did some follow-up on wikipedia about New Hampshires Old man on the Mountain..never had a clue about it all.
19 out of 20....Stupid me! I clicked "Delaware" by accident when I knew it was the NJ SQ. But, I got all of the license plates right! Here's an SQ trivia question for you..... Name the SQ design that was used on an ANA Convention Medal. Chris
I still think there should have been a potato on the Idaho quarter, it would make these quizes that much easier. I mean, Wisconsin put cheese on theirs, that's why there was no question about the danged Wisconsin quarter. Happy Collecting
I got 18/20. I missed California & Montana. All in all, not bad for a guy who doesn't collect moderns (my state quarter collection not withstanding).
That's very good seeming how you rarely if ever see these in circulation in your neck of the woods. Just curious, does Canadian coinage have multiple mintmarks like U.S. coinage? -LTB
Nope, no mintmarks, although we do have some coinage with a "P" for "plated". And I realized I do have more than 2 coins. I have a semi complete set maybe 80% complete, I haven't looked at it in a VERY long time.
