Hello everyone. I picked up this piece for what i’m hoping is a good price. If i can get an honest grade from you will help me determine how well or how poor my purchase was. I will post the price later. Can’t wait to hear from you. Thanks !! upload_2022-11-13_21-48-47.jpeg upload_2022-11-13_21-48-47.jpeg

I'm not much of a grader but it's got some nice head details. Probably not full head though.

I'm not the a good grader at all! But I'm going to say a ms61

It’s either a weakly struck coin or it had a very small amount of wear on the high spots. Very nice looking.

I'm not a grader, but going by the textual definition and photo grading standards somewhere in the low mint state.

Agreed, touch of wear, should be AU-58, but possibly market graded as a 62

Weak strike (best evidence is the lack of details on the shield).
    Tough to grade.
If it's not an AU-58, I'd give it an MS-63.

More recent SLQ (1930's) usually have weak strikes because of older dies (you can see the orange peel surfaces), but that is also mixed up with simple wear, so it's tough to grade. The luster looks really strong, so I would say a confident 63, probably not FH
