I am not new to the forum, as I have been an active reader here for many years now, but I just got a coin in my possession that gives me wet' dreams at night!

    I just got a 2010-P Roosevelt Dime!

I still can't believe it, but in the mean time, should I send it in to PCGS and get it slabbed ASAP?

Should I try to sell it?

By the way, this is NOT a joke!

    Thanks.

  4. Nice find. It is early in 2010 so more will be made by the end of the year. This may be the best time for you to profit if that is your goal. I received two 2009P dimes in change last July and have added them to my collection. 2010 may be easier to get than 2009. TC

My advice? Put it on ebay as FAST as you can. I was the first to sell 2009 P dimes last year and was amazed at the price I got ($48 for the first one). They made 19 million of them, and they'll probably make more, so you'll get another one.

Please report when you do this as I'd love to see what the price goes to. Good luck

The 2010s will probably be a low mintage by today's standard, but would probably not be worth your money to slab it. I am still hoping that the Denver mint gets the go ahead to produce a few million pretty soon.

Prove it with a photo. Until then ... it's just spam from fly by night poster with 1 post.

I don't believe it. I think that the 2009 and 2010 nickels and dimes have been stolen by aliens and moved off the planet.

I bet if you get better pics, and include one of the obv and rev you may get more action. And yikes man, $9.99 s&h, that may rub potential bidders the wrong way; like they're being scammed and they won't bid.

    Nice find!

Yep, I recommend you lower that shipping, you'll get more bids. Put it at $1 to $1.50 tops.

I agree. Look at it this way. You already have one person willing to pay $17 for it ($7 bid Plus $10 shipping) why not shift some of that $10 from the PO to your pocket.

Well I guess you can't. You put it on a one day auction, and it has bids so you can't change it.

And if you are going to call in UNC, don't put a picture of it touching human skin.

    YIKES!

I got an e-mail the other day that Valleycoin.com got some 2010P Dimes.

Nice find. I went to my local dealer and they are selling 2009 P/D at $69.95 a roll and people are buying them. It's insane or you can buy 4 for $7.00.

I would like to get them butttt not at that price.

The 9.99 shipping seems a bit excessive, but hey, to each their own.

    Wow.

I have a roll up on ebay right now and the bidding is at 3 bucks for a roll. Hopefully it will move northward!
