I was thinking the other day of how many altered 1948 cents I've seen and Altered 1944D cents. And altered coins in general.
Have you ever wondered how many exist. I can't recall how many times I've seen altered 1893S but I would venture over two dozen.
Do you think this would create scarcity for the original coins altered? I'm sure it has some effect. But doesn't it make you wonder how many there are.
Heck I'm sure some guy is working right now to forge a coin as you read this.
I'm sure we could recall the 1932 S from pawnstars. Over 26 years ago. It makes you wonder how many exist. And not to include how they damaged so many coins in the pursuit of a quick buck.
