possible Woodie wheat cent ?

    found this today while putting back a roll that was in a paper wrapper that ripped open from old age while moving it and so i put the roll in a plastic tube. this 1 wheat stood out to me. it looks like a Woodie to me. what do you think? let me know. is it wroth anything extra than the red and blue book value?     Hi Kelli,
    The coin definitely exhibits streaking in fields. The condition of the coin shows typical circulation wear for a 102 year coin and the actual graining is light. Any additional premium would not be very much but it is a cool find. I suggest putting the coin into a 2x2 flip and save it. Keep your eyes open for something more pronounced.

    That is simply a corroded Lincoln.
    This is a Woodie.
