I have one ASE set that I've been keeping up to date for a long time. Other than that I tend to collect individual coins, not sets.

I always check pocket change and actively fill and upgrade Whitman folders for all denominations, but I don't consider them "sets" because (1) I don't think I've ever completed one [although I'm getting close], and (2) they aren't high enough quality to be considered "sets" in my mind. It's purely for fun -- and partly compulsive.

I admire people who can put together nice sets. I don't happen to be one of them.

3 Japanese coin proof set, and 1 uncirculated set.

Several few proof Soviet coins in their original sets in with the boxes and casing + certificates. I have the Soviet 1980 Proof silver set. I have put a few images in the omnicoin link... not all of them are there yet though.

I usually get put off with sets because often the prices go way too high or ridicious... but likewise if I could assemble one, it could take that much money too sadly.

I have many sets in the working but I only work on about 2 a year really good...the rest are added to if I buy a lot or such that would fit in...then when I decided to complete that set I go harder to find the missing ones.

This year I've completed my Cent collection from 1909-date and my Washington Quarter set from 1932-date.

Hopefuly next year I want to work on WL Halves and Franklin halves in MS64 or better....manybe another one or two but right now that is what I hope to do.

The concept of "set" completely escapes my easily-distracted conscuisness. The only set I will ever complete will be Everything, and that's unlikely. :)

I do have a set of Franklin halves, but I tend to collect whatever catches my interest at the moment (A.D.D.?), mostly U.S. coins or currency.
Oops, forgot silver Roosevelt dimes and silver Kennedy halves.

Do you mean [WLH and Franklin] both in MS64+ OR do you mean [Franklins in MS64+] and [a set of WLH in circulated grade]?

The latter is my guess, because those early WLH's in MS64+ are exceptionally costly!! If it is the former that is an aggressive goal!! I'd love a "nice" set of walkers like that! My set is completed but the expensive coins are all in VG.

Well at the moment..3 sets..whoops 6 sets... AGE 1986-present all denominations prf and uncirc, American Platinum Eagles 1/10th oz prf and uncirc, Modern Gold Commems, Wash Qtrs MS 64+ , MS Frankies (just revived this one) ASE proof and Uncirc (Finished except for the 1995W)

Your right....Franklins in MS64 or better and WL in circulated grades....maybe some of the later dates in UNC but I'm not going to say for sure.
I have seen a few MS WL and man are they neat....but high for sure!

I think its VG.....my 32-S is a little better F....but they will be going to a grading Co. for grading soon....most of the time I wouldn't send them in but in case I ever have to sell them I thought it would be better.

Let's see...several sets are in progress around here now that you force me to think about it

Morgan date set in MS64 or better...missing 5, the toughies :(

A Dansco 7070 Type Set...45 of 77 holes completed, but my favorite dealer just sent me the empty gold page so I guess that ups the work for me...AND the $$ requirements

I'm making a slow start on a Walker short set...I've always loved these and can see it progressing to more than just the short set.

A 1997 bullion collection from anywhere & everyhwere for Joe's birthyear...this collection was initially only silver but that has expanded to include gold pieces as well.

Those are the 'sets' that I'm working on...there are other things that I pick up here & there simply because I like them but they do not fill any 'holes' in any particular collection.

    sets

Thanks to my Grandfather I have a good start to many sets. I am trying to finish as much of his morgan set as I can. I am down to mostly key dates left to get. I also am working on Peace dollars, franklins and walking halves.
I have a complete set of wheat cents, jefferson nickles, silver Washington quarters, almost complete standing liberty quarters, and all but a couple Mercury dimes. most of my coins are in circulated condition, but I been trying to get au or ms Morgans to fill holes.
I was wanting to get started on some barber quarters or halves, until I started pricing them. Talk about sticker shock, wow.
