1962 D Error Lincoln Ive never seen anything like this before.

Please help me identify this mint error. I found this coin in change recently and I haven't been able to figure it out. thanks Tdec1000

I had a friend who owned a laundromat. He showed me coins that looked like that..hundreds of them. They get caught inside a part of a clothes dryer (inside the "fins" that are inside the drums) and by being rotated in it, they end up looking like that.

Nope. This is a pic of one that weas in the dryer longer than yours was. I have a bunch of others that look exactly like yours around here someplace. ll came from the guys dryer.
