I now have 4 50s, one in each color, red, blue, tan and now black (black had previously always been sold out) 2 30s and 2 20s.. I go much further and I'm gonna need a bigger safe lol... but I really do like these Ursae Minorus boxes for slabs My Morgans have "overflowed" their 30 box so a 30 and a 50 should cover me for most of the full set of morgans to be filled still
not much more then the slabs themselves about the same space as the same number of slabs in ngc/pcgs boxes
aluminum sides and supports, memory foam inside.. so not likely fire rated but even in a fire rated box the slabs gonna melt.. on the other hand the safe IS fire rated and in the case in the safe I expect they should survive any "regular" fire
I use the same ones. I have a 100 and a 50 that I think are pretty great, while not being terribly expensive. Unfortunately my safe is too small for either of them, so I slide them under my desk. No, not fire rated. Which makes my "slide under the desk" idea seem even worse!
3 Fire rated safe Safe deposit box Storage And I put my slabs in ziploc bags. And I use the cardboard boxes the pcgs plastic cases come to you from grading in. And you can fit a lot more than 20 in those boxes like that. And those dont take much space over the slab. And are safe anywhere i have them stashed. They stack in my SDB nicely. And fit my safes perfectly. I even have 1 of those fire safes in my storage in case I stash anything there. If that building burns is safe there too. I know they are only fire rated to a certain degree. But it's better than nothing.
Do you transport them often? Or mostly they stay in one spot? My concern would be a box that big with that many slabs could get quite heavy.
