Why do you think the 1955 s is plated? I think your confused with another cent.

Great box! My last box had 17 Wheat Pennies. A 1918 (not very good though) and a 1914-S. Amazing what you can still get in a box from the bank!

 

Fun Box! Now on to other boxes. I posted my finds because I figured it would be decent.

Should be a law against that. An innocent penny ruined for life! Of course, when I was a young boy, we used to put them on the rail and let the train smash them. Not good.
