Not sure what got into me but I couldn't stop buying coins for a few days there after not really buying anything for months. Most of these would be considered bullion, but I bought them because I like them, not just to have silver/gold. I have a few more coming from overseas but here's what has showed up so far.
Agreed. When I saw that one I had to have it. I actually bought three or four of the others just to get free shipping on that one.
Yeah, one of the best animal coins I have seen in a long time. If I see one at a coin show I will buy one for the kids. I was at an auction Sunday where I usually go for jewelry for the wife. Of course, got bored and got a half ounce platinum eagle near melt and a pretty nice odd denomination set. I was surprised, got it around $180, (including premium and sales tax) with a vg 20 cent piece, but all other pieces around XF, (3 cent silver and nickel, 1833 half cent and 2 cent). I thought it was good deal, and kind of a cool holder for kids to see.
The last coin is a pride.. 1 lion on one side and 2 lions on the other Neat. They are all nice! Heres my 1 Onza - 2018
Nice Bender, LOL. Curious about the Brachiosaurus. My daughter is mesmerized by dinosaurs and trying to get her into coins.. this might help, lol.
My son also likes dinos which is why I decided to start acquiring a few coins featuring them. There are a lot of colored dinosaur coins but I have a personal policy against buying colored coins.
Yep. Give me well-rendered frosted proofs any day... but colorized coins (almost always) look cheap...
Try elongated cents for the little ones. I picked up this collection fairly cheap. Too bad they are on zincolns, but some are still fairly nice.
I actually just got this one today. Parasaurolophus. The second to last of my bender coins to arrive.
Best thread title I've seen for awhile. We can all relate right? Nice selection - I can understand the appeal. I like the giraffe in particular.
