I am new to coin collecting. Do they have slabbed albums? The kinds where each slot is intended for a specific coin. Or is it just blank slabbed albums?

Weclome to CT. I am not sure I understand what you are looking for but you can find almost any album you need on the market today as well as blank albums to build a set to your own personall liking. Some companies are DANSCO,WHITTMAN,LITTLTON and all can be found on the internet through search engines aswell as on Ebay. There are also binders built to hold slabbed coins that can be purchased in single pages or in binder styles already put together. What your looking for is out there but you will have to search do to the vast styles available.:smile

I personally have not heard of any but iam sure they do exist somewhere
It would be a great idea for displaying a slabbed collection over the box :)

Their like sasquatch. Some people claim to have seen them. Other's say they have photos of them. Stranger still, some people claim he had a great 1916 D Mercury Dime. Nobody is really sure if they exist though.

Albums are usually used for raw coins from circulation, or from mint sets that people will crack open to get the coins needed for their album holes.

I use Eagle brand certified coin binders when transporting and/or displaying my slabbed coins. Each plastic page holds 9 NGC or PCGS coins and the large binder holds 5 pages (holds 45 coins total). The pages are clear plastic w/ nothing marked on them. Makes it real easy when trying to sell coins at a show since the dealers don't have to look through boxes to see what I have. Just a quick look at each page of my album is all it takes.

    can get them here:

I have one of those binders and I love it. I have not see one that has the specific coin on it. I like the fact that it is versatile and I can change the coins out when I want

Yep I use eagle albums also and yes they actually have some albums for specific collections like Jeff Nickels. Yep - all they do is print a list for the front of the album and they put a little tab on the side also. You can get the Jefferson 6 coin albums for like $220. You can also get adaptors for the older ANACs slabs. Plus the new ones have been redesigned for the new NGC slabs - even though I don't recall any problems with my old ones.

I used to use the Eagle 3-ring binder pages, but they end up cracking at the holes or along the strips that hold each slab in place. I've returned to using the NGC and PCGS slab boxes, but I will eventually switch over to the Intercept Shield boxes.

This is the exact reason why I recommend Lighthouse albums over Eagle albums.

Yes, they are nice. It would be excellent for transporting slabs, but I'm more concerned about permanent storage. I would need 6 10-shelf cases just for my Morgans and that would be about $1600 which is a little too pricey for me.
