1943 S nickel error?

    You have a well circulated nickel that was damaged (in a vise?) After it left the mint. It isn't an error of any kind. Good news is that it's still a 35% silver war nickel

    I agree with Post Mint Damage. There are many different types of vice teeth that leave marks on the item that is held by them.

    Is that cool, you got the same one! I wonder when Variety Vista is going to get around to listing these repeatable PMDs now for PMD collectors.

    Only the person who did it would know exactly how it was done. That's no type of Mint Error of any kind.

    Vise damage.
