Or, as close to rainbow toned as you're going to get on a circulated bust half. This gorgeous coin was mislabeled as a small 0 on Ebay (how did they get that wrong?) The obverse slab is covered in wispy scratches as seen, but don't let that give you the wrong impression of the coin!

    Guess the Grade and Overton!

Beautiful coin. I'd be at AU50, if not for the appeal. Like Larry, I'm at AU53 as well.

I'm leaning O-123 on the DM.

    AU53 seems about right.

I didn’t spend a lot of time on it, but it seems to be O-123 EDS. I like it at AU-50, but not higher.

Hmmmm.... I had it at O-120. I'll have to go back and check and compare to see which one is right.

That one made the final 3 for me. I think the dentil/star positions point to O-123.

Good guesses on the grade, everyone!

Would you believe that NGC called this XF-45? I believe the driving cause is the somewhat weak luster, although it is present.

I happily paid an AU-50 price for it, due to the eye appeal.

@okbustchaser , can you give an assist on the Overton for this one? I still can't quite make up my mind between 120 and 123. Thanks!

My thought is 123 based on star/denticle positions. Both DMs are close, though.

    And it's better than 45!

Looks undergraded to me. I see it as solidly AU, and love the toning.
