is there anyway i can get the greysheet free. I heard you could print it our for free. If this is true can anyone explain how?
You could probably google graysheet newsletter, And go to there site iam sure They would offer a free copy there!
Actually I take that back. They do give out a copy of the main one at big shows. But other then that why would they give out there sheets for free? Do you do your job for free?
lol well i didn't know. Most of these websites make so much money off of advertising they could offer it for free just to bring up there hits per day.......ie myspace/facebook.
No, you cannot get it for free. Whoever toldyou that is wrong. Even the old editions,going back to 1982 I think it is, even those cost you $3.
Try your local dealer, chances are he has stacks of them behind the counter and wouldn't ming giving you an older one. You can also request a "sample: from the website but I don't know what they send as I have never requested one. You can buy pdf version for around $4 I think. Joe
Sometimes at the coin clubs you can get them for cheap or free if it's an old copy. They are made for dealers though that is another reason they charge for them.
The Greysheet website will sell you a one time sample pack of all the editions for something like $13 and this is quite reasonable, in my opinion. Aside from that, unless someone hands or otherwise gives you one for free, you will have to pay. What might have caused some confusion is that the Greysheet allows folks to have an electronic subscription and then they can print a copy of the edition for themselves without paying again.

Once a year then...if they are junko's you don't need greysheet IMO. Silver is silver...just try to keep them as close to spot as you can then.
well i'm not saying they are complete junk. Just that noone has ever graded them. some look decent. but i'm not a pro like most collectors are seeing weather its a gem or a junk
Buy the sample pack once every six months or a year and it should give you all the information you are looking to obtain.
For most coins, the price will depend on the price of gold or silver. A big shift up or down will change the coin prices. Now if you're looking at key dates and Mint States. You'll want to check a graysheet first. As others said, just plunk down a couple bucks every six months to a year for a pdf copy. There's no point in getting it weekly unless your a dealer.
