Does anyone know of dealer(s) who have Danish coinage of this era? Preferably those who have some sort of online store presence...

    Thanks,

I found what I was looking for. A dealer out of Norway who seems to have rather fair prices considering the evasiveness of the particular specimen I've been looking for. Put-in and paid for the order this morning :)

I'm looking forward to posting it once received. It will be another addition to my "Coinage for Colonial Virginia" collection :)

Now, just have to keep my impatience in check while hot ash continues to spew across northern Europe and clog-up pond postal services...

It is a 1785 Christian VII 2 Skilling. One specimen of this type was found during the restoration of Colonial Williamsburg. Hence my reference about adding it to to my "Coinage in Colonial Virginia" collection

Once I receive the specimen, I'll post photos. :)
