I only need a 51, and I'm thinking about this one, but it's unslabbed, do you think this will make 64?

WOW, beautiful. I'd (just me) say it's MS65FBL, but hey :)

    ah....Bone...its a proof...so MS or FBL don't work...

That is a GOOD Strike on a proof Franklin--few that I have seen that that good detail on the bell...but the face looks like it has some marks....as for the grade...I'm not good at proofs to where I would say for sure but I think it would make PF64

Yes, I do. Easily PF 64 at PCGS. Shot at 65 at NGC. My only concern is hairlines which may not be visibe in the pics.

    Nice coin...Mike

NGC is harder than PCGS by a long shot...and ANACS is harder than both IMO

Speedy I think you would have to admit that this is a generalization and not fact, or true in all cases.

    Well OldDan
Let me put it this way....it is a fact that NGC grades Franklines harder than PCGS...for the FBL....and from what I've seen they grade proofs harder than PCGS.
Now I have heard from older collectors that ANACS grades Franklines harder...and from the Franklines I sent to them...its a fact there too...I sent in a NICE CAMEO that I thought would get 65 maybe better....it came back 64CAMEO...
But you are right...there are some case's in that I would be wrong.

Zaneman, I can't offer a grade, but from the picts it looks like it has good "eye appeal".

Speedy, no disrespect ment by this at all, but just an observation.....give ANACS a rest ;) Most threads mentioning grading end up with a plug for ANACS from you....and then the ensuing banter and/or debate on who's the best grader on what coins, at what times, with what generation slabs, etc. We all have our favorites for different reasons and they are good. Personally, you've sold me on them ;) Just don't need and add every grading thread :)

Again, please don't take this as disrespect, as I appreciate your input and learn as much from you as I do from Doug or Mike Diamond or any of the other knowledgable folks here :D

And no disrespec taken...you are totaly right...and I'll lay off
I think the reason I do it is I hate to see people talking about how good PCGS is great and the ONLY one that anyone should use.
