I really, really, really like this coin. My favorite in the Thread, so far.

Truth in editing: changed the first 'rally' to the first 'really'.

I would rally for that coin, though.

I put in a 38 D/S buffalo

 

From my childhood roll searching days in the early 60’s.

 

Wish that holder plastic wasn’t near the head on the reverse. Nice hit on that coin

 

I have to laugh. I don’t even own a 1938 buffalo nickel

Finding anything with a date was considered a success, but yeah, finds like this really made my heart thump. I’d love to catch that feeling again. There was something about those early days in the hobby that was magical.

 

Just not a series ic dunalot with. I mostly focused on silver 5c coinage. But they’re fun. I’ve ever got a couple out of circulation though late 30s date stuff

 

I concur with my fellow CTer, @Inspector43. Some very nice coins, and, I also don't have any that nice, but I do have the complete set of circulated Buffaloes (not a 3 legged, just the "normal" releases). Ok, I know, pictures or it didn't happen. But, I'm already in bed, warm, and I'm not getting out to go take any pictures tonight. So, I won't have any ill feelings if you don't believe me, lol. I do have a picture of one I took, and will take more pictures tomorrow, if you insist. But, for now, hopefully you'll accept my "one" coin collection!

 

Yes, very magical times. When you looked at your change there was the potential to see any coin that was ever issued for general circulation.
