    I have a 1884 S with die Errors.

1.) Eye Lashes over her eye
    2.) DBL. B
3.) Large Ear... I seen the smaller one, but nothing this large

Any Idea what something in htis nature would bring?

    I also have a 1878 8TF Morgan in MS 65

    Welcome!!

The "eyelashes" were made by another coins reeded edge hitting your Morgan...not an error, just post mint damage.

I can't see the doubled B, can you get closer pictures of it?

And the large ear you'll have to explain a little better, I'm not sure what you are referring to..

That is what i had thought aswell, but the area is raised, NOT indented. They are right inside the Eye-Brow, Looking at the "B" more careful it has an extra piece of metal on the upper right. The Large ear thing, is inside her ear, it's a piece that goes from her hair line half way in her ear.

The displaced metal will be raised, it has to go somewhere. That was a pretty hard hit. I've seen knife cuts that will look like die gouges or die breaks until you get a real close-up pic of them.

The ear thingy is normal, they are all different sizes and shapes, depends on the year.

The B may be just damage too, heavy circulated coins tend to have that kind of thing happening on them, but it could be a doubled B, I just really need a close pic to know for sure.

Nice picture!! The reeds on the Morgan that hit that coin acted like a die and caused the raised lines. Remember that the reeds are incluse and the displaced metal will go up into them. If you take another Morgan and put it right there, I'm pretty sure that it will fit like a glove.

Can you get me a pic like that for the B?

I just tried that, they are spaced too far apart.. There are 3 raised spot, Looks like they belong there, They are in perfect formation, all the same size.

This picture is very blurry looking, I wish I had the equipment to give you an in detail close up.

If the area above the eye happened at the mint, it should be worn down and smoothed out like the rest of the obverse...IMO.

    Hi,
I agree 100% with Becky's determinations. The eyelash was caused by a hard hit from the reeding on another coin, The ear is normal and the B has been determined to be damage of some kind

The eyebrow was hit with something, but it wasn't the edge of another coin. The lines are to deep and too wide apart.
