1952 D Wheat Cent - Possible D/D VP-003 (CONECA RPM-023)

    Hello CT.
    I had this coin in my circulated Lincoln collection and taking a look at the Wheaties saw this weird D mint mark on this 1952 D Wheat Cent.
    Researching at Variety Vista I found a Variety RPM-023 that could match my coin, but I'm not sure.
    Could you take a look at the pictures and tell me if I'm right or not?
    Any comments are appreciated, as always.

    Yeah, it looks like it might match. Die crack isn't exactly the same though. Might be a different die stage?

    I don't think that is an RPM. The 52D Lincoln has a variety called the winged D. The winged is from die chips and the die chip does progress.
    I will have to find my example.
