1980 Roosevelt dime: feedback please?

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by I_want_it_to_be_an3rror, Oct 17, 2022.

  1. I found an odd looking dime in my pocket change. It seems to curve inward when laying flat on the table. I'm not familiar with correct terminology. The outer edge looks like a penny, yet size of dime. On rev. Side - I'm not sure what the black spots on the "O" in One and "AM" in america...i think the metal is chipped.

The first 2 pictures are at 1.0× magnication. The rest of the pictures were taken using the macro setting on my cellphone.

You want it to be an error but..

Not everything that looks weird, different or strange is automatically a mint error.
