I just got it 3 weeks ago, from a currency dealer at a major show.it had been overlooked.due to the fact the guy only sold bills.he had very few coins.so I nabbed em up.

    Nice coin.

My first thought when seeing the pic -- that looks like something Charmy would own.

Congrats on the NEWP and thanks for sharing...Mike

Are you going to send it to either PCGS or NGC to have it certified?

I thought about NGC,but Im not sure,I was trying to complete a cent set,and it doesnt fit in a dansco. So my options were to drill out the hole or sell it,and put some other cents in the dansco in its place.I had an offer, but I didnt respond in time on another forum. Its still a possibility,But at the moment im not sure what to do with it.

It would look really nice in the 4 prong NGC holder

I agree it would look great in the 4 prong NGC holder. With the toning and the edges that would be the perfect holder for it. It would also be nice to have the error authenticated. PCGS could do it, but they are almost impossible on color, especially copper.

Yeah the only Issue I have with a 4 prong is the way it was struck,I wouldnt want it to roll around.

My pea size brain needs some help here envisioning this strike. OK I can see that the obverse is cupped to the viewer (up) but is the reverse cupped away from the viewer, or is this an illusion, like looking at pictures of the cratered moon...those things drive me nuts.

Nice coin. What's the difference in ANACS, NGC and PCGS can someone please tell me? I have a few coins I would like to have graded, but not sure which company I should go with.

Not a quick answer to this question. You might want to start a new thread and give us an idea of what you wish to slab.

Yeah, there is no nutshell for this question, and in a very long time period, you will figure which coin you would like to send to where.once you can figure that out, than you are doing really good.unless you just have a specific preference on grading scale & slab color.

Nice coin. I agree a four prong NGC slab would look great for this coin.
