1999 penny nose die break retain die piece?

    Helo and Welcome to CT!!
    Please show in full the obverse and reverse. Doesn't look like a Die Chip. Too big and it looks like the Zinc is exposed. Most likely just PMD or Post Mint Damage until I see better Pics. and this time try it like this:

    You are seeing the Zinc beneath the copper plating.
    Same issue on the reverse side.
    Burst plating bubble.

    No die breaks nor retained anything.
    Just a crappy zincoln :yack:
