Ike Dollars

I love the IKE's just recently got ahold of the complete 32 coin set. This is one set that I will cherish. The dollar coins today just SUCK.

I collect Presidential but don't like them that much. I like the IKE/Anthony/Sacagawea

 

You can often find Ike's at flea markets too.

 

I heard that banks can order them from the mint is that still true or an urban legend?

The Mint no longer has Ikes in inventory. So unfortunately, this one falls under the urban myth category.

 

Havent got an Ike in change for a long time, But there,s always a couple at
The local bank lying around

 

Went to my neighborhood Wells Fargo last week and got 10 Ike's.
