Well, the Christmas ads are on, so I thought I’d raise the subject of this year’s Secret Santa. I’d be willing to take on a big role but have been up and down with health issues lately, so I’d rather not risk a potential disruption to SS. But I will participate for sure. How say you guys and gals?
I posted a thread about this a month back or so and there was no consensus. But it does look like our old mc is gone from the forum. I will gladly take over the logistics of my favorite CT tradition. I've certainly got the time having no kids and ample down time working nights! But I do not have a list or anything of past participants and who was matched together so it would be like starting from scratch. If everyone is in agreement I can mc the festivities this year!

Do I need permission or can I just begin the planning process. I'll glean all the info I can from previous years' posts. My main concern is I do not have a bad Santa list, but maybe a rule against them is enough to ward off entry!

Cool. I've started some exchanges in an app recommended by a former coworker called elfster. I'll release the links on Nov. 1st and names will be drawn on Dec. 5th randomly by the program! Neat thing is CT members can sign up for a total of 1-3 exchanges I've created, Secret Santa 1&2(for those feeling extra generous, with the caveat that you must sign up for #1 to sign up for #2). Plus a 3rd exchange for our US and international members willing to ship internationally. You are able to sign up for 1,2, or all 3!
