Hey guys, Heres another hammered coin I picked up for only £12. Edward II and its minted in London (1307AD – 1327). EDWA ANGL DNS HYB (Edward Of England Lord Of Ireland) Civitas London (City Of London). If anyone could add any other information about it, I'd be very thankful. Very fine coin! Sorry for the bad picture, didn't take it in natural light so it won't show the coins full detail. Let me know what you think
I always liked the designs of the older pieces, but I never did any collecting of them.for the price it sounds great.as long as it is real.nice piece
There are so many of them around, I don't think it would be worth anyones while making a copy, I could find one or two a week but probably not in this condition, considering its age and thickness of silver its pretty amazing! When you buy Saxon silver is when you get the copies.
I always wanted to have a "connection" in another part of the world, someone that could buy stuff I like, and I could look out for stuff they like & sell or trade to them.Kinda like a foreign exchange partner.I think its the coolest thing in the world receiving a package from overseas. I also like trading other goods, espically candy that we dont have here
But just Imagine all the good candy!! lol. How about this, ill send you some money, you do some "surprise" shopping with it.like a foreign "grab bag" lol
