I was at a show this weekend and I saw this piece and I had to have it. It's in aluminum. I was told it appeared to have been struck with the original dies but I'm not sure I believe that but I just thought it was cool.
That is one of my favorite coins. I'd better look now to make sure none of mine are aluminum ...yikes !
Excellent, even if they are repros you have something in hand to appreciate the workmanship that went into them originally.
