    Pics....

Here are a few pics of my bronze widows mite along with a nice story telling of the coins history. Does anyone know what this coin may be worth?

Your coin appears larger than mine. I have two, and mine came with a story also. I like the color of bronze? or copper? (note: I donot have the ability to post pics yet).

Not that Littleton is to be used as a price guide since they are so far fetched and overpriced in their merchandise but they do have a few Ancients in stock if you want to look them up there, LCC

This was actually my father's coin (which I know nothing about other than what the story it came with tells). There is no price on the package or the envelope it was in (not the original envelope). I was just kinda hoping someone could give me a general idea if the coin was worthless or worth holding onto. Thanks!

Since it was your father's I'd think that's a keeper without regards to the cash value.

They aren't worth a huge fortune, as they're pretty common. I bought a big bag of them for the equivilent of about £3 each a couple of months ago.
As it probably has sentimental value to you, its probably worth keeping it...

At the larger coins shows you can pick 'em up for $5 to $50 depending on condition.

Ebay is also a good source for current prices, they are common enough that one or two will be up for auction.

Seeing that this one has rather nice detail, I'd estimate it at $15-$25

go to vcoins.com to do a search if you would like.
