So I'm a big fan of this roll searching thing. Does anyone do pack searching through $1 and $2 bills for silver certificates, or is it just a waste of time considering about 38 million notes a day are being printed?
Of course, there is a thread listed here where people post their finds. Many people find stars, some silver certificates, ladders, errors, binaries, low serials, etc...
Stars and fancy S/N's are about all I can find in $2 packs. I have better luck finding 90% silver in .50 cent $10 rolls now a days.
I always dump whatever I'm not keeping at a different bank than I took it from. I haven't ever found a silver certificate but I have found plenty of older FRN's and a few USN's.
