NNC? Seriously? LOLOLOLOL, ok, these are the inflated NNC grades: 1940 - MS68 1937 - MS67 1940D - MS68 1940S - MS68 EDIT - In real life they all look like 64's to me.
Just to be sure I understand what you are after - we are supposed to guess the grade NNC gave them. Is that correct?
Also,, feel free to post your honest opinion of the grade for each cent also... will be interesting to see what each of our regulars thinks is a true grade vs. an NNC grade. Have fun,, it's a fun round !
Here is where experience really comes into play; where I am at a disadvantage because I've never even heard of National Numismatic Certification (NNC). I had to look it up on ebay It appears they're just another self proclaimed reputable TPG. So based on the few coins I have seen them over-grade, here are my guesses. 1940 P - ms69 (NNC), ms64 (LTB) 1937 P - ms69 (NNC), ms64 (LTB) 1940 D - ms70 (NNC), ms65 (LTB) 1940 S - ms70 (NNC), ms65 (LTB) Prof. Bahabully, are we officially on spring break? :kewl: And when we return, will it be the final exam (Round 12)? -LTB
Yup,, spring break,, enjoy it. Two more rounds after this,, I'll post round 12 early this week, and then finals will be posted around next weekend. Then on to another game... dunno what ya'll want to do next,, I don't have as large a variety of cert'ed coins in any other specific demonination, so we can either start up an all types thread, or go after each denomination but with fewer samples to test the group with (maybe around 10 or so for each denomination)..... ya'll tell me.

Round 11 recap: Looks like the regulars have posted. Welcome mad.outcast.. have fun. NNC grades - (easy summary)... All are MS68 Opinions: I always like to check out lower tpg's to see if there is an opportunity to pick up nice coins at discount, provided I understand thier grading tendency first. IMO NNC grades MS coins around 3-4 points high, and also does not readily ID cleaned coins or altered color, so beware of that also if you chose to go after a few. That said, I was very pleased with these coins for the price I paid ($10 for all of them). They appear to me to be honest MS coins and came holdered to boot.
