Why would the 2004 regular clad proof sell at 2x the price of the silver proofs?

    Not Quite Double

I did some searching but could not come up with the total amount of 2004 11 pc. clad proof sets minted, but apparently it was a low mintage year. Probably lowerer then the amount of silver sets. The difference in price is not quite double. Clad sets are trending for around $75.00 where silver sets are just under $50.00 per set. ;)

They stopped selling the clad proof set early which caught
alot of collectors off guard I thinks it is the lowest mintage of proof sets since 1996?
