Question- is there a common reverse (die) used for 1874-S and an 1875-S variety? '74-S on left, '75-S on right...
I feel like TradeDollarNut used to have a website full of useful information about that sort of stuff, but I can't find it. He'd be the best person to ask.
Not an expert on die variety on these. But I don’t doubt they used a common reverse die as San Francisco was producing the bulk of these and sending to China
Looking at them there’s nothing that makes me question their authenticity. But they do keep getting better
It was common to re use rev dies as long as they held up, (witness the wide CC die used from 1873 to 1876!)
