My 2011 edition of the redbook only tell's you the value of this coin as pr-65, it is listed at $40.00 bucks, i would say since it's done been graded and u didn't have to pay the grading expenses u done good. You have to keep in mind though just because the red book has it listed for $40.00 bones it don't mean that's what u gonna get. I always go by completed listings on ebay of the exact same coin i am thinking about selling, for instance if my coin is a 1881 morgan dollar pcgs ms-66, then that's exactly what i am going to type in on ebay and see what it sold for.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

$25 is at the high end of what I would look to pay for these. The Red book cannot be relied upon for value. 69DCAM is pretty much the standard grade for modern proofs - I would say the majority of those minted grade at this level.

  5. You did really well. Mintage is relatively low (between 800-900K) on these and many of these silver proof sets remain intact. TC

Yes, a fair price, but keep in mind that should you decide to sell anytime soon, this coin would auction off on ebay to within a couple of dollars of what you paid. Correct me If I'm wrong. :)

Redbook has one at PF-65 for $40, and Numismedia lists a PF-69 DCAM at $35.

agreed, most would grade at this level, so it is not an unusual coin, but he has the slab and most of these don't, they are predominantly raw. To pick it up near market price for a raw coin is, IMHO, a good deal.
