Got this from the bank the other day all 2021. Now when you get them from the bank do they come directly from the mint? I don't know if I want to take the time to break open each roll to find premiums. Should I just leave them alone and let it ride? IMG_20220926_141145871.jpg ty

To search or not to search ??? depends on what you're looking for MS66,67 ???

Usually, boxes come from armor truck companies, and they roll the coins up. I've seen both all new coins or a mix of old coins mixed in.

One time I got a box that looked all new and there was a sprinkle of old coins mixed in. Maybe 95% new, so you never know what's inside.

I still have some cents from 1982 waiting to be searched. What’s the rush?

To answer your question no the coins are shipped from the mint to a Federal Reserve bank in your area.
At that point the coins are rolled and banks place orders for the coins and bills they need.
Your local retailersplace their coin needs to the bank they deal with.
So when you go to your local food store and you see an armored car or truck parked in the pick up lane.
They are pickling up the stores funds to be deposited ,as well bring the store the cash so they can make change for cash sales.

Years ago when you wrote a check for your purchase the armored vehicles would also pick up checks.
The checks in those days had to clear though the Federal Reserve bank in your area.
These days with more electronic transactions checks are taken at the pos to with draw the payment to the store. With less cash transactions the need for paper money and coins isn't what it was years ago.

    1stSgt22 I'm just me!

I recently had a similar experience with a box of 2021P WCD quarters. They had just a few 2020 coins in them. I looked through every roll just in case and found nothing! Good news is it only cost me a little time! I don't think I would want to spend that much time on a bunch of zincolns though! Still, it's your choice!

No but I suspect you are younger than me so you should, but maybe not as there are no guarantees about life, live for awhile longer.

Nope usually sent to companies for rolling & distribution

Go through 5 rolls. If nothing stands out, let them go back! 2021 has a good Struck Thru Error, but GL!
