Coin Shows in Vegas in August

I haven't been in the US for several years but by chance will be in Las Vegas in mid-August this year. Does anyone know if there are any Scheduled shows in the Vegas area in August? I'd love to go to one.

Vegas Dealers?

I'm gong to be in Vegas tomorrow through Thursday (April 6-8). Does anybody have any recommendations (other than Pawn Stars:headbang?

I went to a relatively small coin show in Las Vegas awhile back. Compared to local shows around me, I got the feeling it was filled with thieves, scoundrels, and cutthroats of all kinds. I didn't purchase anything. Very uncomfortable atmosphere.

 

Recommendations for what? I usually don't venture onto the strip...leave that for tourists, but if you mean somewhere good to eat of some coin stores I can recommend a few.

I went to one Vegas coin show several years back.
Basically I found them overpriced.
A quick check in Coin World showed several shows BUT all had an admission fee.
It leaves a bad taste in my mouth to have to PAY to spend my money, at least for coins that IMO are overpriced.
I'll stick with MFD and the Baltimore shows.

 

Sorry, I meant coin stores. We are staying on the Strip.

 

I like American Coin Express. The store on Sunset is by far the best in town. Unfortunatelly, if you are flying in and don't have a car it's about 10 miles from the strip and the cab fare will be a bit much.

I checked on the link you provided and there is a show listed - at Sam's Town [a hotel]. I contacted Sam's Town and they say they know nothing about a coin show in August.
