Wartime nickel auction pickup

    Picked up 49 wartime silver nickles for $13 at a public auction. The reserve grades stink, obersves are ok. Seemed like a cheap pickup though. Off to Ebay with these.

    Congratulations. Silver melt for that lot is much higher than $13.

    Nice! Those are about $1 each right now in silver content.

    Personally wouldn't eBay them. After fees and stuff, you'll be missing a lot of the value. But, whatever works.

    Ebay is about the best method for me for unloading them. Selling them to a dealer is going to get me squat. So be further ahead to ebay them. I already have a set of them and I have enough silver around already.

    Figured they'd be worth around a buck a piece melt value. Thanks for the link.
