I know nothing about coins. MY husband who now suffers from dementia told me a quite a while back that these pennies were worth something. I did some searching and they were all over the place. He bought these many many years ago. I removed one from the protection sleeve to take a picture. Any help would be appreciated.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Welcome to the forum. As for what I can see I would venture to say anywhere between $5 - $ 10 a piece. Hard to grade by a pic but that would be muy guess.

Well, they are not super rare pennies, but they look to be in nice enough condition they could be worth several dollars. The only one I can see well enough to guestimate the grade is the one you removed. No guarantees, but I could see it going for $10+. The others could be somewhere between $5- to maybe $30 (not likely). I don't know where you live (town/area), but you would be best taking those to a trusted dealer. If we knew where, someone could possibly recommend a dealer.

BTW, please do not touch or try to clean any of those coins.

Thanks so much all for your speedy replies. I have other coins as well that I would like to sell so a trusted dealer referral would be great! I live in Manchester, NH.

You will get more money selling on your own. A dealer will only give you wholesale prices.

The only 2 I am aware of up there are Small Cents II and Eastern Numismatics Incorporated both in Nashua. I don't think I trust Small Cents II. What does anyone have to say about Eastern Numismatics Incorporated?
