Foreign Coins???

    These are the coins I don't know about. :eek: Can anyone tell me where the coins are from and if they're RARE. You don't have to give all of them. Thanks B12

    The 1 öre coin with King Oscar II's monogram is from Sweden, the 25 cents piece featuring young Wilhelmina is from the Netherlands.

    In the middle, 5 pfennig from the German Empire, and 2 1/2 centesimos from Panama. Next, 10 centavos from Cuba, and an Austrian 1 (heller?) coin ...

    The Austrian coin is a 1 Kreuzer of the reign of Emperor (or Kaiser in German) Franz Josef (1848-1916).

    I’m still new at the dark art of foreign coins so here i go.

    The 1 ore is from Norway i think
    The second coin in the second post is from Panama.

    They're not Rare but some aren't all that common either. You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
