This is the second picture of a coin I took. I cropped it, cropped out the background and changed to color to the background of my site all with a very simple program. Took about 2 minutes total to take the picture put it on my computer crop it and upload it on my site. So what do you guys think? Any way I can make it better.
Not an expert at all but it looks good. You could get rid of the glare at 12 o'clock and add a second light source to get rid of the darkness at 6 o'clock. And you could get a MS coin

Yep, there's a significant hot spot at the 12 to 1 o'clock and it's dark at 6 to 7 o'clock. You might like to catch up on this thread with some great techniques offered therein: Numismatography
