1913 D with something on the reverse???

    There's 3 things on the reverse.Can anyone tell me what they are and does it make It's value go up more? Thanks B12

    A nice rim bump....if this was a UNC coin it would make the value and grade go down...on most coins of this grade (AG/G) rim bumps are just a thing...

    If you look carefully, there are actually 4 "bumps", each opposite the other. Too symetrical to be random damage. I'd guess this coin was at one time pressed into the center of a "good luck" token, or mounted some other way.

    Yea you right. They're exactly across from each other. So that means it was caused by someone doing something to it. Is that right you think anybody? B12

    Hi,
    I agree, it was probably in a good luck piece. That would account for the damage in the 4 spots. Also, even if it were in better condition, it would be after mint damage and decrease the worth of the coin tremendously.
