I see no doubling of any sort

 

The date is identical to Wexler's. Serif's in Liberty. Die scratches on forehead and through "state" on reverse also die crack through long feather and hair.

Are those Serifs on Liberty? Pretty consistent for bag damage!

 

Your pics do not match the 2 varieties at Wexler, on 002 there is no die dot on the chin, and I don’t see the doubling shown on the known varieties.

After 85 years this probably would have been discovered already, meaning there are more of them out there, but I think it is a mild form of MD.

You’ll have to send it to be authenticated and maybe you can get them to assign it as a new variety…imo…Spark
