    Thanks.

These are very cool looking and in excellent shape. What do you think is a fair price?

Midas: Check eBay completed auctions. A lot of raw tickets turn up there. They run about $20+ each. Heritage Auctions archives has graded examples, in better(?) condition than yours that range over $100, $200ish. I just picked up an Indian a short time ago. I posted pics and links about these tickets here. I love it and am looking for the others. PM me if you like.

They will go for that if they are in very nice shape.
Except the Handel is the hard one to get :D
There are also tickets that you can get that have the stubs attached and are very cool.

I thought they were issued in a booklet. Any one know if this is so?

There are 6 in the main set and one has a picture of Handel the composer.
They didnt have an attachment. But there are childerens and Chicago day tickets that did have an attachment that they would tear off at the gate.
I have just those such thing.
They look real good with a nice Columbian Expo Half btw :D

Whoa--recently? You got a deal! I've been tracking the Handel ticket on eBay and it's been selling consistently for about $70 by itself. The semi-key is the Franklin and it brings about $30-40. The others go for $15-20 each.

Ironically, ABNC issued a set of souvenir cards for the World's Columbian Expo in 1992 with intaglio reprints of all of six tickets. That set is more valuable than the originals. Go figure.

Incidentally, leftover tickets were sold in sets after the fair, as souvenirs. They came in a special envelope that usually didn't survive. The envelopes are now worth as much as all the tickets they contained.

Hmm, something happened with the Franklin ticket. Let me repost. Sorry about the moire (checkerboard) pattern. The background really looks just like the Handel card.

It's an intaglio print from the original American Bank Note plates.
