I’ve had this coin for about 25 years. It’s a 1945-S Lincoln Wheat Ear Cent. Graded by NGC as a MS-67 Red. I didn’t pay the full retail price that you see but I bought it because of the none graded higher. Not sure if any have been graded higher by NGC but PCGS does have a few 68’s. Still a lovely coin that’s held it’s color and I’m pleased to own it.
The jump to MS-67 from 66 is tough on Lincolns. It's all about having great luster. The jump in grade is worth about 8 or 10X in price.
