Found my first Cud Penny

    Tried to take photos at angles to show it's not push-over from the rim. No damage on the rim next to the tiny cud. 1982 Lg. Date Copper.

    Looks like a slight misaligned strike that caused a slight finned rim. Might be folded over copper..

    How can I confirm without destroying it? Thanks! I had a coin before with a finned rim that was loose and broke off.

    Look for the crease/gap between the surface and blob. I also lean towards a folded finned rim.
