I wonder how many times this was missed. Until me! . The wrapper seems like it was opened a few times.
Charley was refering to the coin possibly being a DDO, Have you checked it? It looks a lot like 003. Take some clearer photos of IGWT
Do you ever check for Collar Die Breaks? You can find them on 2002 Halves. I have 40 attributed examples and about a dozen raw. http://www.error-ref.com/rotating-collar-cud/ Also Known as Rotating Collar Cuds
I just started doing some Halves many of banks in my area don't have them. I occasionally get a dozen of rolls. Geez thats alot of graded Coins for a collar break
It took me several years to acquire them. Many at very low prices. Fred Weinberg had most of them slabbed by NGC and he even gifted me 1 or 2
I am referring to the appearance of a "joining" at the top of the W and the E. I I was not referring to a possible DDO. I did not mean to mislead you.
The joining of the letters is alot of times a sign of a DDO. A Doubled dies devices get larger as there are 2 full size images. A conjoined WE is not a common trait. But it seems that it is just the photos in this instance.
