1941-D Wheat cent is a D/D or S/D or ???

    I pick up a Wheat book 1940-1958 at a yard sale I past yesterday.most AU58-MS??.but this one is the 1941-D is one I never seen before I hope some knows what it is D/D or S/D???

    This coin was minted in Denver Colorado, It is D. I have 1941 S (San Fransisco). So it is S/D or nothing (no mint mark = P or Philadelphia)

    Jello-
    To me it looks like either a D/D rotated or a D/D South. From the photo it almost looks like an extra lower line to the south of the primary.

    thank you! I know there was something extra on the D and never seen or read of D/S. maybe the CONECA site will know more about this type???

    Jello,I have a bunch of uncirculated wheat cents from the 30's and 40's and was putting away some 41-d's last night and stumbled accros the same thing! My new phone takes terrible pictues but I'll try to post. You can check wexler guide I believe it is.. been awhile since I looked up but I was just getting ready to do so if I can pass any information to you I will.
